Counsel Attorneys To The Firm
In the practice of law, we often get calls from our clients to assist them on matters that we do not specialize in. In tum, we often get calls from other attorneys to assist their clients on matters that they do not specialize in.
When an attorney is not a partner or associate of the firm, but regularly works with another attorney from a firm other than his own firm, this relationship is referred to as an of counsel to the firm relationship. By working with other attorneys that hold expertise in matters that our firm does not possess, (and visa versa from their perspective), we are able to better serve our clients by referring them to attorneys that in whom we have confidence.
